Where to start! Weight loss has been a goal of mine for the past 4 or 5 years. I gained most of my weight in college, and then even more after I graduated and started sitting at a desk all day. As I gained weight it seemed to affect every part of my life- from how I viewed myself, going out with friends, dating, and comments others would make about me and especially about my weight. Being in my mid twenties I knew this is not how I wanted to live my life and I knew I had to do something about it.
I started to "plan" my weight loss strategy years ago. With every plan I attempted I put on more and more weight. I would say to myself I am going to eat this one last meal and then start tomorrow. Well "tomorrow" never rolled around and my weight kept going up.
Things I have tried in the past- weight watchers, all women's workout center for 30 minute circuit, low carb Atkins diet, I even bought a treadmill which I gave to my sister after using it all of 10 minutes in 2 years, numerous books and so many other random things.
I finally contacted Tiffany and signed up for boot camp class this past November 08. Through the personal training sessions, boot camp, and a nutrition plan I have lost around 70 pounds and I'm down 5 to 6 pant sizes. I know this is a journey for life and it’s only the beginning. The best part about the process is how healthy I now feel and the fact I enjoy working out which is something I will take with me through life. As far as eating goes I have not been on a "diet". Tiffany has taught me how to modify what I like to eat so it’s the best version of whatever it is for me.
Thinking back from where I started in November to now, I have changed so much mentally and physically and I thank Tiffany one hundred percent for getting me here today! Previous Spotlight
